Harry Reid snubs the Queen of England

Although I agree that the MSM via TV is a poor way to get to the truth, I couldn't help but notice a report this morning that Sen. Harry Reid decided to turn down an offer to attend Queen Elizabeths' dinner gala at the white house.

Does anyone know why? Could it be that Sen. Reid believes the Queens' association with King George represents support for his regal policies? Is there any resentment out there towards this event? Does her appearance represent support for Bush?
